A Vintage European Chalet

Nestled in the tranquil landscape of Bhugaon, Pune, this 4500 sq.ft. farmhouse—designed by Principal Architect Ajanta Mujgule of AMA Design Studio—is a luxurious weekend retreat that blends rustic charm with vintage European elegance. Upon entering, the living room welcomes you with warmth, where wooden rafters reminiscent of old-world cottages and a vibrant salmon hue create a space that feels both stylish and emotionally resonant. A striking stone wall above the fireplace and dining area evokes the sophistication of a Swiss chalet, while herringbone-patterned wooden flooring enhances visual continuity throughout the interiors. Indoors effortlessly flow into outdoors, with thoughtfully placed furniture offering serene garden views, and a rustic aesthetic that invites relaxation. The family room, with its soaring 20-foot ceilings and timber rafters, forms the majestic heart of the home. Outside, a 14-seater timber dining area and a lively bar adorned with colourful ceramic tiles and cherry wood ceilings create a picturesque setting for entertaining. Every detail in this farmhouse reflects a deep connection with nature and timeless design, making it a true sanctuary from city life.
